It's the end of the week, how nice! Is there anything as good as Fridays, except for Thursdays when you don't work on Fridays?

Well, something good is the MUSIC AGAINST HUNGER fundraiser that we are doing through the World Food Program in order to raise $10,000 to fight global hunger. For 3 more weeks, 100% of the proceeds from our Big Cartel online shop will be donated to this cause, so if you want to buy a gift for someone or just simply help out, please head over to our store HERE. Alternatively, you can just make a direct donation (tax-deductible) HERE!

To make things even better, we're doing a weekend sale where you get high-quality mp3s of 9 releases for FREE when you buy any vinyl on our Big Cartel page. We'll send you the download links as soon as you place the order, and the vinyl will ship next week.

And here's some information regarding our January releases:

In January we'll be putting out 2 very special limited releases. The first will be a hand-made and packaged DVD containing a lot of our live visuals and music videos. The working title is "Preventing Lead Poisoning in Young Children: a DVD by Arms and Sleepers." It will be limited to 100 copies, hand-numbered, and all proceeds will be donated to the World Food Program. So, you can watch our visuals at home while your money is helping those in need. Pre-ordering will begin in a few weeks, and will ship in late January. Here's one of the videos that will be included on the DVD:



The second release will be the benefit compilation album, as part of our Music Against Hunger campaign to raise $10,000. We will confirm all the artists participating in this project soon, but there will be new/rare tracks by Helios, Gregor Samsa, Constants, Ef, pg.lost, and Aucan, remixes by The One AM Radio and Arms and Sleepers, as well as a live recording of a Caspian song. This will be a limited edition of 200 CDs, hand-made and packaged, and shipped at the same time as the DVD. Again, all proceeds will be donated to the World Food Program. Finally, we are still trying to get to 4,000 "likes" (or fans) on our Facebook page by the end of the year. This will help us communicate easier and with more people regarding all the wonderful things that we have in store for you in 2011. And as a thanks for your efforts, we will release a free, exclusive Holiday EP containing all new songs. BUT, this happens only if we can get to 4,000! So, go to our Facebook page and click on "Suggest to Friends" right below our main picture, and spread the word!
